Yes! We have been moving Privately Owned Vehicles since 1971. In that time, we have safely moved thousands of vehicles, always with warm thanks.

Would it be less expensive for me to do my own pickup / delivery?
Under ideal conditions, yes! But not necessarily convenient. Please see WHY USE OUR SERVICE.
Why must I pay by Cashier's Check or Money Order?
Our clients move frequently, travel worldwide, and often utilize overseas banks. It allows us to keep our costs and, subsequently, our rates down.
Do I need to have my signature notarized?
Only if you are shipping commercially from overseas with the exception of Hawaii.
Can I Fedex my order?
We ask that you fax or mail your order. If you have time constraints, you can send the order as overnight mail. You also have the option of using Western Union to wire your fee.
What are demurrage charges?
Shippers charge fees for storage after a designated number of days. You have the option of leaving your vehicle in storage with your shipper until your scheduled arrival delivery. Or, ASAD can pick up your vehicle before demurrage charges begin and do either of the two following options:
1)
Deliver your vehicle to your arrival destination, and you pay additional long-term parking fees.
OR
2)
Store your vehicle in ASAD's storage for an additional fee, then deliver the vehicle to the long-term parking in time for your scheduled arrival.
Options are circumstantial, and should be weighed based on the length of time the vehicle will remain in storage.
ASAD does not take responsibility for demurrage, parking, storage, or any other applicable fees. If you expect such charges to apply, please include this amount in addition to our service fee in your order.
How will I know where my car is?
Upon receipt of your order, we will fax or mail to you our confirmation letter which will explain how to collect your vehicle upon arrival.
I am shipping my car from overseas, non-US territory. Do I need to worry about customs?
If your vehicle is being shipped by the military, you do not need to worry about customs. If you are shipping privately, then you must clear US customs, and meet with California EPA and Federal Standards. You can find information on-line for requirements by visiting the following address:
Please note that ASAD is not a customs broker and can only pick up private shipments from non-US territories if the vehicle has met all requirements. We do require proof of customs clearance.
